Szechuan-Tibet. Kuang-hsü Fantasy Dollar ND MS64+ NGC KM-X440, Kann-B29, WS-1349-45. A fantastic fantasy type, closely modeled off the Tibetan Rupees used in trade with Szechuan. Capturing upon all the beauty of its prototype, though in a level of detail simply never seen for those issues, the coin at hand pairs a razor-sharp level of execution with a soft salt-gray surface luster to stunning visual effect. Currently ranking as the finest certified by virtue of its "plus" grade, we note that the Damkoehler specimen, the previous finest we had handled, was an MS64 and brought $3824 in our December 2015 sale.
