CELTIC, Northwest Gaul. Coriosolites. Circa 100-50 BC. Stater (Billon, 24 mm, 6.42 g, 10 h). Celticized head of Apollo to right, his hair in large spiral curls; before, volute. Rev. Celticized charioteer to right; below, boar. DT 2341. LT 6598. Beautifully toned. Minor areas of weakness, otherwise, good very fine.
