Trajan Decius, 249-251. Antoninianus (Silver, 24 mm, 3.50 g, 7 h), Rome. IMP C M Q TRAIANVS DECIVS AVG Radiate and cuirassed bust of Trajan Decius to right, seen from behind. Rev. GENIVS EXERC ILLVRICIANI Genius standing front, nude but for chlamys, head to left, holding patera over lighted altar in his right hand and cornucopiae in his left; to right, signum. Cohen 49. RIC 16c. A splendid, lustrous example. Minor flan faults on the reverse, otherwise, virtually as struck.
