INDIA, Medieval. Chalukyas of Gujarat. Anonymous, 1030-1120. Gadhaiya (Silver, 17 mm, 4.26 g, 4 h). Stylized Sasanian head to right, wearing crown surmounted by crescent. Rev. Stylized Sasanian fire altar; in upper field to left and right, pelleted sun and crescent. Deyell 158b. A very attractive example. Minor deposits on the reverse, otherwise, nearly extremely fine.
