GAUL. Massalia. Circa 130-121 BC. Drachm (Silver, 16 mm, 2.75 g, 7 h). Laureate head of Artemis to left, wearing pendant earring and pearl necklace and with bow and quiver over her shoulder. Rev. MAΣΣA Lion walking left; to left, A; in exergue, ΠA. Depeyrot 43/3. Maurel 646. Lightly toned and attractive. Very minor doubling on the obverse, otherwise, nearly extremely fine.
