PHILISTIA (PALESTINE). Uncertain mint. Mid 5th century-333 BC. Drachm (Silver, 14 mm, 4.16 g, 12 h), imitating Athens. Head of Athena to right, wearing crested Attic helmet decorated with three olive leaves and palmette. Rev. AΘ[E] Owl standing right, head facing; to left, olive sprig and crescent; all within incuse square. CNG E-Auction 453 (2019), 135. Gitler & Tal XI.8-10D. Nicely toned. Struck from a worn obverse die with some breaks, otherwise, very fine.
