Struck 1679. · IOAN : FRIDER: D: G: DUX BR: & L, draped bust of Johann Freidrich right, hair elaborately curled and spaced with annulets; dotted inner border / EX DURIS GLORIA · ANN · MDCLXXIX (rosette), concentric legend around two ships under sail (larger to the right); between them, palm tree on rocky island; beneath, waves; V · FEIN · SILBER / H - B; between, 2/3 in cartouche, in two lines, all within dotted inner border. KM 224. VF (damaged), suspension loop has been crudely soldered on with large areas stained by flux on both sides; loop has been crudely broken-off; on reverse, palm tree branches are deeply and amateurishly tooled; dig in field. Rare, single-year type.
