A lot of 22 bronze ring currency, Western Europe, ca. 3rd - 1st Century B.C.. of mostly a uniform size nicely patinated. Rings of this type are found in large hoards, often with silver or gold ingots suggesting they were seen as a form of portable wealth. While these could also be simple strap fittings and many found are, examples such as these found together in large groups suggest use as a proto-currency. Largest 3 cm in diameter.
