KINGS OF MACEDON. Alexander III 'the Great', 336-323 BC. Drachm (Silver, 15.5 mm, 4.18 g, 12 h), Miletos, lifetime issue, circa 325-323 BC. Head of Herakles to right, wearing lion's skin headdress. Rev. AΛEΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ Zeus seated left, holding eagle in outstretched right hand, scepter in left; in left field, monogram. ADM I Series I. Price 2090. Lightly toned. Reverse with rough deposits, otherwise, about very fine.
