ISLANDS OFF ATTICA, Aegina. Circa 550-530/25 BC. Stater (Silver, 19 mm, 11.89 g, 10 h). Sea turtle with thin collar. Rev. Deep incuse square with "proto-Union Jack" device. HGC 6, 424. Meadows, Aegina, Group Ib. From the earliest series. Deeply toned and well centered. Die-break on obverse, otherwise, good very fine.
