With a fine green patina; particularly rare, especially without the usual countermarks. Very fine.


In contrary to the way this type is described by the RPC, the structure of this coin proves that Commodus is actually on the reverse die. This makes it a rather exciting coin: having the emperor, and his titles, on the reverse is most unexpected.
