Levon V, the nephew of Guy of Lusignan, was the last Latin ruler of the Kingdom of Armenia. His reign lasted a mere eight months before he was ousted by a combined army of Turks and Egyptians. He was wounded in the fighting and was taken to Cairo. After he was ransomed, he lived in Paris until his death in 1393. He was buried in the Monastery of the Celestines there, but during the French Revolution his tomb was desecrated and his ashes scattered.
