LUCANIA, Metapontion. Circa 330-290 BC. AR Nomos (21mm, 7.64 g, 2h). Head of Demeter left, wreathed with barley ears and hanging straight down in back / Barley ear with leaf to left; lit altar above leaf, YΛ to right of stem, META upward to right. Johnston Class C, 10.1 (same dies); HN Italy 1593. Lightly toned, minor scrapes and roughness. Good VF.
