MYSIA, Kyzikos. Circa 550-450 BC. EL Stater (19.5mm, 16.17 g). Dolphin left; below, tunny left / Quadripartite incuse square. Cf. Von Fritze I 53 (unlisted denomination); cf. Greenwell 157 (same); cf. Boston MFA 1409 (hemihekte); Hurter & Liewald –; Künker 280, lot 202; otherwise unpublished as a stater. Lightly toned, minor double strike, edge split. Good VF. Extremely rare, one of two known staters for this issue.
