Head of Apollo right, wearing laurel wreath / Homer seated left, holding scroll in left hand, right hand raised; diagonal scepter in background, AΠOΛΛOΔOTO[Σ] to left, ZMYPNAIΩN to right. Milne, Silver 6, obv. die a; Milne, Autonomous, Period XIβ, 196; Bement 1482 = Weber 6118; de Luynes 2659 (same dies). Lightly toned, slight roughness. EF. Exceptional for this rare issue, among the finest known.
