S • P • Q • R • CAESAR[I] AVGVSTO, bare head right / VOT • P • SVSC • PRO • SAL • ET • RED [• I • O • M • SACR], Mars, helmeted, naked except for cloak hanging from shoulders over left arm, standing left, head right, holding vertical vexillum in right hand and parazonium in left hand over left shoulder. RIC I 148 corr. (obv. legend); RSC 321; BMCRE 441 = BMCRR Rome 4462; BN 1236-8. Deeply toned, banker's mark on obverse, shallow scratches under tone. VF.
