A pair of different proofs of Bond heads – black and deep forest green, and proof of Bond back. Heads -- Imperial eagle in circular cartouche flanked by wreathed maidens. On the green, the strips below title have been knocked out to illustrate bond number position for layout, the left border has also been cut. The black affixed to sample card; the Back proof in black – Bond Principal and Interest payable "in the City of New York, U.S.A. or at the Option of the Holder in Petrograd, Russia". The Back proof affixed to an oversized control folder with corresponding number and die number and cutting information on verso.
