Loon II, 464; E 217). Very fine and dark-toned, very rare £400-£500

Provenance: SNC July 2010 (CM 1293).

Hawkins assigns this to Simon but with no evidence of any sort. However Grueber, in the 1911 MI Plates, ascribes it to Thomas Rawlins, comparing it with Rawlins' Restoration medals, an attribution which makes far more sense
