GREAT BRITAIN: (1952- PRESENT DAY) 1986 QUEEN ELIZABETH II SCOTTISH THISTLE GOLD PROOF THREE COIN SET- The set comprises of the 'Scottish Thistle' Two Pound Coin (The use of the Scottish thistle honors Scotlands role as the host nation of the XIII Commonwealth Games).- this was the first time in British history that a legal tender coin set had issued a two pound celebrating a Sporting event! how things have changed. Also include is the Full Sovereign and Half Sovereign. A beautiful set and just 1500 minted.
