His laureate and cuirassed bust right; GEORGIVS • - III • REX • around; first portrait / Britannia seated left; BRITAN - NIA around; 1775 below; reverse C. S. 3774. Peck 907 (S). Extremely Fine; even brown tone over fresh surfaces. This is a particularly rare date as a genuine currency issue–the last date before the Mint gave up issuing copper until Soho came along in 1797.
