COMOROS. 5 Francs, AH 1308-A (1890/91). Paris Mint. Said Ali bin Said Amr. PCGS PROOF-63 Gold Shield.
KM-3; Lec-10. An EXTREMELY RARE version of a very popular low mintage classic world Crown. A nicely preserved example of the type exhibiting a bold sharp strike coupled with crisp frosty design elements and mirrored fields with light signs of handling consistent for the grade. Upon close inspection light directional lines are noticed in the fields preventing a higher grade designation, mentioned for the sake of accuracy. A handsome representative of this highly collectable type displaying light iridescent tone in the peripheries and amongst the devices with hints of richer coloration in the crevasses adding to its desirability certain to see spirited bidding from world type collectors.

Estimate: $9000.00- $12000.00
