FAEROE ISLANDS. 10 Ore, 1941. PCGS SPECIMEN-66 Gold Shield.
KM-4. A VERY RARE proof of record issue, struck by the Danish government for use in the Faeroe Islands. Wonderfully produced and preserved, this coin shows a high degree of reflectivity in the fields and soft contrast over the raised designs. This is the only example seen by PCGS to date with a single piece appearing in the NGC census as well (that piece graded as a PROOF-66).
