Obverse: Maximilian, in full armor, kneeling before and praying to the Virgin Mary and Holy Infant to left; crown and orb in exergue; Reverse: Crowned and garnished coat-of-arms within Collar of the Order of the Golden Fleece. The level of handling on this choice piece is very minor, and a good deal of brilliance remains shimmering throughout. An engaging type with a very moving obverse iconography.
