S-1715; Fr-106; N-1355. 6.97 gms. Tied for the finest certified by NGC with no Mint State examples at PCGS. Obverse: Henry, holding shield and sword, standing facing in ship; Reverse: Voided short cross potent over cross fleuree; in each angle, crown over lion passant over trefoil; at center, Lombardic H within quadrilobe; all within polylobe, with trefoils in spandrels. This beautifully preserved survivor exhibits strong design elements on a broad flan featuring nearly complete legends with minimal signs of doubling displaying lovely light patina offering much originality and a pleasing appearance. Seldom do examples of this type and caliber appear in the marketplace, especially so in this elite state of preservation, that serious consideration should be taken from many potential bidders seeking high grade survivors.
