S-2265; Fr-155; N-1760. First coinage. Obverse: Archangel Michael slaying dragon to right; Reverse: Ship bearing coat-of-arms and cross; Һ to left, rose to right. A great example from a popular king, this specimen does exhibit some noted damage near the rims, but nevertheless offers a charming golden-orange tone and little actual handling on each side.
