S-2534; Fr-214; N-2008. Weight: 11.26 gms. Obverse: Crowned and mantled bust left, wearing ruffled collar; Reverse: Crowned and garnished coat-of-arms; E-R across field. An incredibly transfixing specimen, this example presents robust eye appeal through its solid, well centered strike, golden-tangerine highlights accentuating the devices, and lightly handled, seemingly problem-free surfaces. The only mark to mention subtly grazes the temple of the famous queen, and blends in fairly well with her hairline. Undoubtedly one of the finest and most attractive representations of the type that one is likely to encounter from this late period in her reign.
