An enchanting and transfixing duo representing an order which New Guinea placed with the Melbourne mint. The entire mintage for each denomination was returned to the mint shortly thereafter, whereupon they made 400 2-piece sets available to the collecting community, while destroying the remainder. As such, a rather RARE set, especially so enticing.
