KM-50.2; Onza-820; Restrepo-M73.34. EXTREMELY RARE quality, possessing an unrivaled strike and very little handling over the surfaces. Thick reddish-orange patina surrounds much of the designs as well, signaling absolute originality. Far exceeding the Eldorado Collection example, which graded AU-53, and not surprisingly, the single highest graded of the date. Considering the overall quality, very likely the finest extant, ranking among the finest observed examples of this bust style from the Popayan mint. A real treasure!
