JAMAICA. Jamaica - Mexico. 6 Shillings 8 Pence (8 Reales - Dollar), ND (1758). NGC VG-08.
KM-8.3; Prid-4. Issued by local act of 18 November 1758. Bifacial countermark: ornate G.R. within circular incuse; all on an 1754-Mo MM Mexico pillar 8 Reales of Ferdinand VI (KM-103). This mostly steely gray specimen exhibits a good deal of wear on the host coin, but the countermarks nevertheless remain quite strong and bold, making for a great overall representation of the type.
Estimate: $1000.00- $1500.00
