Portrait of António Feliciano de Castilho at center with eyes closed, with arms at right and cherubs supporting the bank name at top center. Two allegorical figures are seen on the reverse, with the woman holding a lyre and a torch. Bank name at top with two cherubs supporting the bank name. This example is seen with an earlier date of July 28th 1920, with most notes typically encountered with the 1922 & 1926 dates. Excellent color and details remain after being on this Earth for a century, with good detail found in the intricate border designs along with the underprinting. Scarce, and sure to be missing from the most advanced collections of Portuguese bank notes. Perforated Cancelled.
