BRAZIL. Mint Error -- Struck on Wrong Planchet -- 50 Centavos, 1967. NGC MS-66 Brown.
cf. KM-580; cf. LDMB-311. Weight: 8.20 gms. Struck on a copper planchet instead of the proper 8.74 gm nickel planchet. An attractive and interesting error, in which a lip of copper extends out vertically from the lower right obverse rim. The coin is well struck with abundant mint red remaining in the fields.
