cf. Whiting-717. Diameter: 42.5mm. Issued to mark the founding of a Lutheran church in Jerusalem. Obverse: three ministers pray before an adoring crowd; reverse: five line inscription in a palm wreath. Dies by H. Lorenz. A sharply struck Medal in high relief with lovely original toning.
Although the references mention this medal only in bronze, we see several examples in silver in the archives.
