GREAT BRITAIN. Shilling, ND (1551-53). London Mint; im: tun. Edward VI. ANACS VF-20.
S-2482; N-1938. Third period, fine silver issue. Obverse: Crowned and mantled bust facing slightly left; rose to left, XII (mark of value) to right; Reverse: Coat-of-arms over long cross fourchee. A well-centered and handsomely struck example, featuring a charming portrait of the very young king. Despite the grade, this attractively toned piece would appear to be a bit higher quality than is otherwise conveyed by the designation. As such, a premium quality example at this level.

Estimate: $300.00- $450.00
