S-3647; KM-539.3. First bust type, with "SS", "C" in the reverse angles, indicating that the silver was provided by the South Sea Company. A decently struck shilling with flashy luster and pleasing russet to almond peripheral toning. A few minor dark planchet streaks are noted on both sides.
