CURACAO. Curacao - Mexico. 3 Real (18 Stuiver), ND (1814). NGC VF-25; Countermark: VF Standard.
KM-13; Prid-1. Weight: 4.75 gms. Five petalled rosace within circular indent. Issued by local ordinance of 30 August 1814. Applied to the reverse of a cut 1/5 a Mexico portrait 8 Reales, probably of Charles IV(IIII). The countermark is bold and clear with evidence of severe degradation and being reworked, slightly obscuring the host mintmark.
