Canada Halifax, NS - Royal Bank of Canada $5 1.12.1900 Pick S1369 Ch.# 630-10-02-02P Front and Back Proofs About Uncirculated (2). This design and denomination, prepared for the Halifax branch of the Royal Bank of Canada, is amazingly rare in any grade, and in any format. This pair of Proofs was printed on large cardstock, allowing plenty of space for handwritten annotations. This set was prepared by the American Banknote Company, as evidenced by the typed notation at back. Spotting, some staining, and mount remnants are present on both sides. Nonetheless a rare prototype of an extremely scarce type.
