Cuba Banco Nacional de Cuba 10 Pesos ND (1905) Pick 68 PMG Choice Uncirculated 63 EPQ. While the Banco Nacional de Cuba sounds like a government bank, it in fact was the opposite. Apparently, this series of banknotes was created without government approval, and issuance was halted almost immediately after it began. Extant examples of any denomination are extremely rare, as only a few are known to exist. Pack fresh originality is seen. This private bank never issued notes again. The Banco Nacional de Cuba issues beginning in 1948 were government issues and are in no way related to these notes of 1905.
