All details on both sides of this note are on full display, with just a hint of circulation to mention. The Currency Commission created this series to circulate along side the Lady Lavery series, but its goal was to replace the private bank issued notes that had been lingering in circulation. This example was issued by the Bank of Ireland. After this series, the eight commercial banks would end their issuance of banknotes.
