Israel Bank of Israel 5 Lirot 1958 Artist Rendition by Shamir Bros. An early Artist proposal created 10 years after the advent of the State of Israel in 1958 by Shamir Bros. in Tel Aviv. A bust of a fisherman is seen to the left and four fishermen in a boat at center. The essay is 34 X 22 cm in size and is hand painted. Mounted on cardstock with stamps and annotations. This rendition was never adopted, instead Pick 31 was the design that was implemented. This is the first time that we have offered anything for Israel in this format.
