Panama Banco Central de Emision 5 Balboas 1941 Pick 23a PMG Very Fine 25. The 1941 series of Panamanian notes are sometimes referred to as the "Arias Seven Day Issue". These notes were issued and withdrawn a week later, after President Arnulfo Arias was deposed in what would be his first of three military coups. Very few banknotes from this series are extant. This is only the second we have offered.
