Spain Banco de la Coruna 500 Reales de Vellon 18xx (ND 1857) Pick S303 Very Fine-Extremely Fine. The port city of Coruna is part of modern day Galicia. During the 19th century, localized banknotes were issued. This large format 500 Reales was spared much circulation, but at some point was torn in half and rejoined. Nevertheless attractive, and scarce. This type is not illustrated in the Specialized Issues Standard Catalog and very few are known to exist. An exact date and signatures were not applied to this note, which could indicate that it is a Remainder.
