Carl XI 8 Mark 1665 MS63 NGC, Stockholm mint, KM252, Dav-4530, AAH-54 (R). The sole example of this very rare date, and the sole year that saw the use of this bust type, that we have been able to locate, and a truly stunning survivor at that. The fields are clear even of the most minute marks with a bright silver pull away tone at the legends that nicely pairs with the silty color of the planchet. At present the only sample certified, and quite likely amongst the finest known.
