SICILY. Syracuse. Ca. 415-405 BC. AR tetradrachm (27mm, 17.21 gm, 1h). NGC AU★ 5/5 - 4/5, Fine Style. Obverse die signed by Euth(ymus?), reverse die signed by Eumenus. Nike driving galloping quadriga right, reins in both hands; another Nike flying left above and crowning the first Nike, Scylla right in exergue, trident in left hand over shoulder, pointing forward with right hand, dolphin swimming right behind, fish swimming right before, EYΘ (signature) below exergual line to right / ΣVPAKO-ΣIΩN, head of Arethusa left, wreathed with grain, acorn and poppy, wearing a necklace with a lion head pendant; surrounded by four dolphins swimming clockwise; EVM (signature) under truncation of neck.
