AEL EVDO-XIA AVG, pearl-diademed, draped bust of Aelia Eudoxia right, seen from front, wearing necklace and earring, hair elaborately weaved with long plait up the back of head and tucked under diadem, crowned with wreath by hand of God reaching down from above / SALVS REI-PVBLICAE, Victory seated right on cuirass, shield behind, inscribing Christogram on shield set on left knee; CONOB in exergue. RIC X (Arcadius) 28. Depeyrot 55/5. Areas of orange toning on mellow flan.
