Late lifetime-early posthumous issue of Amphipolis, ca. 325-319 BC. Head of Athena right, hair in two tight corkscrew curls, another curl behind and a fourth over left shoulder, wearing pendant earring, necklace and triple-crested Corinthian helmet with short parallel crest ends pushed back on head, the bowl decorated with coiled serpent right / AΛEΞAN/ΔPOY, horizontal bow and club left, horizontal thunderbolt above. Price 165. Well struck on lustrous flan.
