(Duplessy lists with triple annulet stops on reverse). +PhILIPPVS: DЄI | x GRA x | FRAnCORVM: RЄX (saltire and double saltire stops), King seated on Gothic throne, a sword in his right hand and his left supporting a shield / + •XP'C: VInCIT: XP'C: RЄGИAT: XP'C: IИPЄRAT (annulet and double annulet stops), cross fleurée with voided quatrefoil in center and at the ends of the limbs, leaves in angles; all within a quadrilobe with trefoils in spandrels. 1st Emission (from 1 January 1337). Despite traces of doubling, this piece is remarkably well-struck for the issue with attractive surfaces and few marks of note.
