Bavaria. Maximilian I Taler 1628 MS65 NGC, Munich mint, KM227.1, Dav-6075, Hahn-111. Obv. Crowned oval shield with arms of Bavaria and Pfalz and lion supporters. Rev. Seated, facing Madonna and Child. Argent-gray toning with a reddish tint. The surfaces are free of significant flaws and traces of original luster are noted around the devices. A very rare issue in Mint State, this is the only example certified by NGC and PCGS.
