William III 1/2 Crown 1698 MS64 PCGS, KM492.2, S-3494. DECIMO edge. Highly lustrous and frosty for a coin of its age and type, with gold and subdued crimson tone outlining the outer registers. Impressively sharp in the obverse legends, which provide an emboldening framing effect, alongside a centrally positioned strike that leaves even rims bordering the central features. Light adjustment is noted to the reverse - a feature that is wholly original to the production of the coin over 300 years ago.
