Great Britain
George I silver Proof Pattern "Dump" Farthing 1718 PR63 NGC, KM-PnF34, Peck-790 (R). Thin flan. One of the few attainable pattern farthing types from George's reign, with the copper issues considered extremely to excessively rare by Peck, and no such pieces having been issued for circulation. Currently tied for the finest at NGC, with the next highest being an AU58, the surfaces abound with an electric cobalt, peach and pink tone that produces a singular eye appeal and framing effect around the central devices. Mislabeled on the holder as Peck-778 (silver 1/2 Penny).
