Charles III gold 8 Escudos 1761/0 Mo-MM AU53 NGC, Mexico City mint, KM153, Onza-741 (Very Rare). Order at date variety. One of the classic rarities of the Charles III Mexican 8 Escudos series, seen here with a blend of sunset red, pink and orange peripheral toning which forms the perfect border for the portrait. Only the second date for which this issue was produced, and only the second representative we have handled, we would note that the Rudman specimen was only a VF Details (Plugged, Polished, and Bent).
